PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN BY THE LEDZOKUKU MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY

LEDZOKUKU MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY PROGRAMME/PROJECT/INITIATIVE

List of project undertaken by the Municipal Assembly, Teshie.


1. Re-Roofing of visual Art, Home Economics &Business Block at Teshie Presby Secondary School.

2. Construction of Fence wall around Lekma Head Office.

3. Maintenance of 510 No. Street light for Lekma.

4. Fabrication and supply of 450 Mono Desks and 350 Dual Desk for schools within lekma.

5. Rehabilitation of Teshie Lekma '12' JHS   school block.

6. Construction of ground floor of 3 storey 18 unit classroom block with ancillary facilities.Krobo 1&2 school*
( *Phase 1, 6unit classroom block with ancillary facilities )

7. Gravelling of Penny Culvert Approaches ph I

8. Drainage works at 9th Fertilizer Link ph. V

9. Construction of 1.2m Double pipe Culvert at Penny.

10. Construction of 0.6m Drain along Dar-Er-Salam Street.

11. Drainage works at East Okpoigonno

12. Drainage works along UBA road, Teshie.

13. Road Repair Works at Oak street,
Bannerman clinic

14. Construction of 2.0 By 1.5m storm Drain at Tebibanor, Teshie.

15. Construction Double Box Culvert on Park Avenue.
( GhanaTelecom,Teshie)

16. Construction of double box Culvert on Cocoa street, A-life Area (11% completed)

17. Culvert repair at Alloway.

18. Construction of 1.2m Double pipe Culvert at Penny.

19.Pothole patching, resealing and grading of selected roads in Teshie.      ( 10% completed)

20. Rehabilitation of Volta Street, Near Ford  School Junction.

The Government is doing extremely well through our Municipal Assembly, Teshie.

More projects/ initiatives are in the pipeline and will soon be publish for the good people of Teshie to know.

LeKMA HANDS CHAIRS AND TABLES OVER TO THE MUNICIPAL DIRECTORATE,TESHIE.

Today at exactly 9:00am the Hon.MEC Evelyn Naa Adejely Twum- Gyamerah  handed over 330 seats of JHS table and chairs and 100 seats of teachers's chairs and table to the Director of Education of the District directorate. This chairs is to be distributed to schools in Teshie to enable all pupils have comfortable chairs and table to sit on for studies. This will also make teachers feel at ease knowing there is somewhere to sit after and during lectures. The MCE believes in the education of her people and noted that she will do everything within her strength to make sure that the challenges facing education in the municipality is reduced. Tebibianor Presbyterian school, Nungua SDA and Krobo cluster of schools phase I project, to mention but few are the projects that has been undertaken and completed by the Assembly.  Last year over 600 tables and year was handed over to the municipal directorate all to make the school going children of Teshie feel comfortable. MCE, LeKMA DONATES TO TESHIE DISTRICT POLICE HEADQUATERS

Hon.Evelyn Naa Adjeley Twum-Gyamrah the Municipal Chief Executives of the Ledzokuku Municipal Assembly this afternoon donated to the Teshie District Police Headquarters of the Ghana Police Service Two (2) Split  Air-Conditioners and One Photocopier machine. The the Municipal Chief Executive said it is to make their work easier and Comfortable. The Former constituency Chairman of ledzokuku, now the Regional financial Secretary Mr. Mordecai Quarshie , The Presiding Member, Hon. Derock Laryea, The Assemblyman for Akro West Mr. Theophilious Lamptey, The constituency Research officer, Mr. Cephas Sowah and some staffs of the Assembly were some of the dignitaries present for the donation Exercise. LeKMA, MCE ATTENDS SOD CUTTING CEREMONY FOR REMOULDING OF THE GHANA MILITARY ACADEMY

Hon. Evelyn Naa Adjeley Twum-Gyamrah, LeKMA Municipal Chief Executive attended  the sod cutting ceremony for the remoulding of Ghana Military Academy which was held at Teshie Military Academy this morning. Present at the ceremony were:  His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo the resident of the Republic of Ghana and the Commander in Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces, Hon. Dominic Nitiwul, MP, Minister for Defence, Hon. Abross Derry, MP, Minister for interior and a host of other important and prominent dignitaries. The project scope of work will Include:  Three - Storey Military Academy Hostels with 240self contained Rooms .  Two-Bedroom, Four Storey Blocks of 16 flats for platoon commanders.  Two-Storey Military Academy Classrom block, to mention but few.
